NADINE ROBBINS BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1966, Nadine attended grade school in Southern France where she came in contact with that region's rich artistic heritage. At age 16 she returned to the United States where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from the State University of New York at New Paltz. An exchange student opportunity brought Nadine back to Europe where she visited the major museums that solidified her love of portraiture. After graduating from college she worked in the corporate communications and identity divisions of Citibank and Chase in New York City. In 1989 Nadine founded Namaro Graphic Designs during which time she received more than 50 design awards from such organizations as Creativity, Art Direction, Graphic Design USA, etc. and during this same period she was refining her painting techniques. By 2007, Nadine decided to dedicate herself full-time to painting life-size portraits of couples. In 2010 and 2011 one of her portraits was accepted in the highly regarded Annual Royal Society of Portrait Painters' Show in London.
