RIVER REFLECTIONS

RIVER REFLECTIONS is an ambient light installation in the Hoosac River in North Adams. RIVER REFLECTIONS is conceived to enchant viewers with light that asserts the river as integral to the fabric of the city. Small spotlights shine light against a reflective sheet of mylar suspended against a side of the river channel and create reflections on the water below. The currents of the river, combined with the subtle movement of the mylar, produces a captivating sight of ever changing patterns and shapes.
