RIVER SOUNDS

My installation involves a delicate approach to the river's sounds. I will run tubing up from the river to a listening station where individuals can listen to the isolated river sounds coming from the tube. My headphone-like device will be placed over the ears - a listening 'box' where you would walk into it and the sounds are emanated from a funnel end to the tubes that will function something like a 'cup and string' telephone.
